Who Am I and Why Do I Write?

Hello! And if you've made it this far into exploring my blog, thank you!

I say blog, but to be honest, it's more of a digital archive. I got tired of trying to manage a million different social media accounts and always ending up doomscrolling -- thus, I created my baby [this site]! Now, it's easy to connect with my community of lovely readers and fellow artists; I know I won't end up in the void of Instagram Reels after making a single post....or at least, one can hope.

Anyway, back to who I am and why I write! My name is Liberty. I'm a poet and aspiring novelist , but most importantly, I'm someone who cares about my neighbors [ALL of them].

I write because things need to be shared. Young queer women need non-fetishized representation. Corrupt politicians need to be called out. Best friends should feel appreciated. The universe should know that I love her! And you, my dear, should have something good to read!
